Product description:
Incoloy alloy 800H UNS N08810
Resistant to oxidation and carburization in high temperature environments
ASTM Standard
Alloy 800H has excellent corrosion resistance in the water media at extremely high temperature of 500°C. Its higher nickel content made it have good stress corrosion resistance cracking properties in the water corrosion condition. High chromium content made it better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. This alloy can resist nitric acid and organic acid, but it is not so fine in the sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.

Application:
Incoloy alloy 800H UNS N08810 has excellent resistance to localized corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and to both oxidizing and reducing media, thus making it suitable for a wide variety of chemical process environments, including ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), formic and acetic acids, seawater and brine solutions. It is one of the few materials that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide.
Chemical processing, waste treatment, pollution control, pulp and paper production, and marine engineering.
